Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

This extension collects and processes the following data:

• YouTube video information: Video ID, title, and description text from YouTube pages you visit. This data is used to extract Amazon links and generate summaries.
• Amazon links: Product links found in video descriptions are displayed to you and optionally saved to your account.
• Account information: If you create an account, your email and password are sent to our server for authentication.
• API keys: Your Gemini API key is stored locally in your browser and sent directly to Google's servers to generate summaries.

How We Use Your Data

• Extract and display Amazon links from YouTube descriptions
• Generate AI summaries of video content (via Google Gemini API)
• Save videos and links to your account (if logged in)

Data Storage

• Local storage: API keys and preferences are stored in your browser using Chrome's sync storage. This data never passes through our servers.
• Server storage: If you create an account, your saved videos, Amazon links, and generated summaries are stored on our server.

Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API: Video descriptions are sent to Google for AI summarization. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.
